Have you observed the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about a couple of weeks back when I took a short vacation with my mom to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.

As I waited for my turn to be called at the live tables, I noticed how the other people around the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was very fascinating to say the least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that discovered this, but I did notice the gamblers at the table had a lifeless quality to them. The cause of this might be because there was no human interaction with the dealer, the ambiance was rather dull and the gamblers looked uninterested. It was nearly as if I was viewing a live version of a web-based texas hold’em poker room instead of being seated with warm bodied humans. It was a little bit freaky and I kept flashing back to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the reside tables was over an hour, I decided to observe how the casino game action was and to encounter this new hold em poker gaming technology. Soon after playing a couple of hands, I actually felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity in the table was the primary reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are feasible at these digital tables.

Another thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a great deal of hands at the PokerPro table and discovered that the play was a good deal like a web-based texas holdem poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, but I found it to be really odd.

Soon after playing a couple of rounds with this "unique hold’em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m much better off playing hold em poker on the net at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house have been to receive rid of the stay poker tables, I think they’d shed a lot of players.
