Amateurs Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in a great game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that players compete against other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable people winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, rookies can take their time and scheme without having to make quick decisions.

It is also easier to bet on for a long time with basically a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
