Online poker has become world famous lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers attain five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the showdown. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a figure equal to the original bet. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The casino pays out chips equal to your wager and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
