Web poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The house pays out money even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for two pairs
• 3-1 for three of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• 7-1 for a full house
• twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• 100-1 for a royal flush
