Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not need to worry about any other, more skillful individuals winning their money.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, novices will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty choices.
It is also much simpler to play for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier gets 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
