Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced people taking their cash.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a small bit of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is given seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
